The Girl's Poem

My daughter wrote this poem in her 3rd grade class, and although I'm completely biased, I think it's great.

I Am

I am artistic and special

I wonder if magic is real

I hear a whisper in my ear

I see a man sitting in mid air

I want a pet tiger that wouldn't harm me

I am artistic and special

I pretend I'm a dog

I feel calm

I touch something warm

I worry about nothing

I cry when I get hurt

I am artistic and special

I understand art

I say Hello

I dream that I can do magic

I try to do my best

I hope when I'm older people will be nicer
